Education is a key focus area of our programme. At NVFI, our educational programmes are specially designed to ensure the realization of our objective of promoting inclusive quality education in vulnerable communities in Ghana.
Our formal education programme also ensures that children in marginalized and deprived communities have access to quality education through the facilitation of improved school infrastructure, teaching and learning materials and mentorship and career guidance programmes. The needy Child Education Support Programme (NCESP) is one of our flagship educational programmes designed to deliver educational support to children in vulnerable and marginalized communities in Ghana. The programme also seeks to promote access to quality basic education for needy children living in deprived and marginalized communities in Ghana, especially, children who have never had the opportunity to sit inside of a classroom. It is our belief that through the implementation of this programme, we would be able to help many children in deprived or marginalized communities in Ghana to realize their full potential and contribute to the reduction of the high incidence of illiteracy which has become endemic in most vulnerable communities and rural areas in Ghana.
The key components of our NCESP programmes includes; scholarships to needy but brilliant children, provision of school infrastructure supplies, learning materials and other important educational resources to vulnerable communities in Ghana.
